The Dunalastair Hotel Suites in Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire, has been sold to Loch Rannoch Estate Limited, the operator of the nearby Loch Rannoch Hotel, Spa and Estate, for an undisclosed sum.
Originally a drovers’ inn in the 1700s, the hotel was redeveloped in the Victorian period and has since undergone significant refurbishment.
It now offers 32 letting suites and a range of public rooms overlooking a central courtyard.
Located close to Loch Rannoch and within sight of Schiehallion, the hotel is a short drive from visitor attractions including Queen’s View, Ben Lawers and Loch Tay.
The sale was handled by Graham and Sibbald on behalf of joint administrators Julie Tait and Stuart Preston of Grant Thornton UK Advisory and Tax.
Alistair Letham, hotel and leisure consultant at Graham and Sibbald, said: “The Dunalastair Hotel Suites will be an ideal addition to the Loch Rannoch Estate Ltd with the ability to offer the spa and leisure facilities of the Loch Rannoch Hotel to guests at the five-star Dunalastair Hotel, and increasing the choice of restaurant options for guests at both hotels.”
