Auberge Resorts is now Auberge Collection. The company has announced its new name that it says reflects a broader vision of the brand that is inclusive of luxury hotels, resorts and residences. The change underscores Auberge’s commitment to creating one-of-a-kind properties and experiences around the world, the company said.
“From the start, the Auberge name has been synonymous with rare luxury and one-of-a-kind experiences,” said Dan Friedkin, chairman of Auberge Collection. “Evolving our name brings sharper clarity to who we are at our core: a collection of inspiring destinations, each alive with its own heritage, character, and creativity.”
The timing of the announcement coincides with Auberge Collection’s strategic expansion, which includes recent openings such as Collegio alla Querce in Florence and The Woodward in Geneva. Upcoming openings like Cambridge House in London, The Knox in Dallas, The Shore Club in Miami Beach, The Birdsall in Houston and Moncayo in Puerto Rico showcase the growing depth and geographic diversity of the collection.
“This transition is a natural evolution for our brand,” said Christian Clerc, president & CEO of Auberge Collection. “It reflects the growth of our portfolio, the breadth of extraordinary experiences we offer, and our enduring commitment to the singular identity of each property.”
Auberge Collection has consistently earned media recognition. In Travel + Leisure’s 2025 World’s Best Awards, the brand achieved the highest percentage of luxury properties featured, with nine properties ranking No. 1 in their categories. Additionally, 15 Auberge properties were included in Travel + Leisure’s Top 500 Hotels list. The brand has also regularly been celebrated in Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards, with 20 properties ranked among the world’s best in 2024, six of which earned the No. 1 spot in their categories.
