Hyatt Hotels Corp. celebrates the 45th anniversary of its Park Hyatt brand in 2025, 45 years after the debut of Park Hyatt Chicago in 1980. In recognition, Hyatt is launching the first global Park Hyatt marketing campaign in more than five years, “Luxury is Personal,” which demonstrates the brand’s focus on intuitive service and intentional enrichment.

“The Park Hyatt campaign, “Luxury is Personal,” celebrates luxury not just as a grand performance, but as an intimate convergence of refined details that resonate long after the stay. This lasting vision for the brand to create spaces of personal luxury in the world’s most sought-after places is further emphasized through the many exciting properties we’ve introduced and look forward to welcoming to the brand soon,” said Katie Johnson, VP & global brand leader, Luxury, Hyatt. “As we celebrate 45 years of Park Hyatt hotels, we are extremely proud of the personal touch we bring to servicing our guests and members and can’t wait to breathe new life into the brand as we head into our next chapter.”

Park Hyatt’s recent and upcoming openings span Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific and the Americas, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to refined design, gracious service and culinary excellence that resonates with each destination. In Europe, Park Hyatt Marrakech opened in July 2024 with 130 residentially inspired guestrooms and suites, blending modern design with Arab-Berber heritage. Park Hyatt London River Thames debuted in October 2024 with 203 rooms in Nine Elms, offering proximity to Battersea Power Station. Park Hyatt Johannesburg opened in July 2025 with 31 guestrooms and suites in the Rosebank district, while Park Hyatt Taormina is expected in 2027 with suites overlooking the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna.
