Marriott International, Inc. has signed an agreement with Pacifica Hotels G.K. to open City Express by Marriott Osaka Shin-Imamiya, marking the first introduction of the City Express by Marriott brand in Asia Pacific.

Set to open in 2026 following a strategic conversion, the nine-story standalone property will feature 100 guest rooms in Haginochaya, Nishinari-ku, directly adjacent to Shin-Imamiya Station, a key interchange served by the JR Osaka Loop Line, Nankai Main Line, and Osaka Metro. Its prime location offers convenient access across Osaka and the greater Kansai region.

The new hotel will bring the brand’s signature focus on quality, simplicity, and consistency to Osaka’s dynamic tourism landscape, providing modern, value-driven stays for both business and leisure travelers.

The project is part of a broader collaboration between Marriott International, Pacifica Hotels G.K., and investor AB Capital, reflecting a shared commitment to expanding midscale hospitality offerings and delivering meaningful guest experiences across Japan.
