Research Follows Hilton Being Named No. 1 World’s Best Workplace by Great Place to Work® for a Second Time in Three Years
Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has released new UK research revealing a strong link between employee engagement, and customer satisfaction and loyalty. The research reinforces the case for investing in a people-first culture and the power of hospitality as an engine of opportunity for employment, career growth, and personal development.
The survey revealed that:
- Nearly three out of four (74%) of UK consumers believe companies that care for employees deliver better products and services.
- 72% are more likely to recommend companies known for treating employees well.
- 60% say happy employees are the driving factor behind great customer experiences.
Released as Hilton celebrates being named the No.1 World’s Best Workplace by Great Place To Work, the findings underscore the importance of investing in employee engagement and the impact that can have on consumers’ experience as well as their brand preferences and loyalty. Earlier this year, Hilton was also named the No.1 Best Workplace in the UK and is committed to removing barriers to employment and participation to enable more people to access meaningful careers in hospitality.
