Travel technology provider Travelgenix has agreed to terms with Zest Car Rental, the partnership enabling its clients the ability to offer car rental as part of their online and offline sales journeys.

This new collaboration positions Zest Car Rental as a Premium Supplier within the Travelgenix ecosystem and brings Zest’s full, hand-picked portfolio into the Travelgenix platform as live bookable content.

Travelgenix clients can search, quote and book Zest Car Rental directly within their existing Travelgenix workflow, without leaving the platform or logging into a separate system.

According to the team, Zest has built a reputation as one of the most reliable and traveller friendly car hire providers in the market.

The company is said to ‘champion honest pricing, fair fuel policies and carefully chosen local suppliers, creating a customer experience that removes the stress traditionally associated with car hire.’

Through Zest’s Travel Agent Programme, Travelgenix clients will benefit from live access to Zest’s global portfolio via the Travelgenix platform, alongside exclusive B2B rates, easy reservation management, personalised vouchers, and the support of a dedicated UK based account manager backed by 24/7 customer service.

Booking flexibility is also included, with free cancellation and a full refund available up to two hours before the rental begins when booking as a Zest partner.

Andy Speight, CEO of Travelgenix, said: “Travelgenix has always supported car rental as part of our platform, and it is an important revenue stream for many of our clients.

“Bringing Zest on as a premium, live bookable supplier is an excellent addition to that existing strength.”

James Hood, trade relations manager of Zest, added: “We are delighted to partner with Travelgenix.

“Their technology makes it easier for travel businesses to sell smarter, and our integration means agents can seamlessly add excellent, reliable car rental into the holidays they already sell through Travelgenix.

“Together we give both the trade and their customers greater confidence and peace of mind when hiring a car anywhere in the world.”
