As first reported by Hot Dinners, all mention of the restaurant has been removed from the hotel’s website and there is no availability on either of the two bookings platforms the restaurant is signed up with.

Update: The Langham has now confirmed that the restaurant has shut its doors for good.

Mimosa launched in March in the space that had previously been home to Roux at The Landau (and briefly Dom Taylor’s The Good Front Room residency).

High-profile French chef Jean-François Piège – who oversees the menu at the original Mimosa in Paris – was initially attached to the project but it was later confirmed that he would have no involvement with the restaurant.

Inspired by the French Riviera, Mimosa London was the first international outpost for the brand and is described as ‘an ode to the produce and heritage of France’.

Headed by Fred Srouchi and Khaled Dandachi, Moma Group is a major player on the international restaurant scene with brands including Noto, Rural by Marc Veyrat, Casa Amo, Manko and Shellona.

The closure leaves the group one London sites, Café Lapérouse at The OWO in Whitehall.

Moma Group has been contacted for comment.
