OTA Oojo launches in Germany

Firms first foray into Europe outside of the UK

OTA Oojo, part of the Trevolution Group, has officially launched in Germany, having previously predominantly operating in the US, Canada, and the UK. 

The market choice was said to be strategic as the firm chose Germany to be the first country to drive its expansion across Europe due its size and digital readiness of travellers.

Oojo’s launch in Germany is further strengthened by its partnership with travel meta-search platform Kayak. 

Along with its extensive network of brands, including Swoodoo, Momondo, and Checkfelix, Kayak will direct traffic to Oojo’s website, providing German travellers with direct access to a wide variety of booking options.

“A German travel customer is independent, digitally skilled, and holds exceptionally high standards for service quality and reliability,” Gulce Karsli Rozenveld, CEO of Oojo.  

“The element of trust in choosing a travel provider plays a huge importance and given this, with over 20 years of experience within our Group and attentive customer service, we believe Oojo is a good fit for the market.

“The team is excited to offer travelers not only an easy-to-use travel platform but also a seamless, tech-driven experience that aligns with the preference of a German customer for independent travel planning.”
