ST. REGIS FORAYS INTO OMAN: St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has arrived in Oman with the opening of The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort. The hotel has been developed by Alfardan Group and combines the local heritage, avant-garde design along with the brand’s signature hallmarks. Located in the Al Mouj neighborhood in Muscat, the resort is situated along the Al Mouj waterfront and offers direct access to a secluded beach with views of the adjacent golf course. The resort offers 250 rooms and suites (including one- to three-bedroom duplexes) with private balconies along with the St. Regis Butler Service. The property includes nine dining venues, the country’s first Guerlain Spa with 11 treatment rooms, a gym, multiple pools, kid’s club and two ballrooms which can accommodate up to 1,000 persons. Currently, St. Regis has more than 55 luxury properties across the world.

MEYER JABARA TO OFFER IT SERVICES: Meyer Jabara Hotels is offering IT services and support across its portfolio of 32 hotels along with any other properties requiring technological support on a project basis. The hotel owner and third-party manager will design, procure, install, certify and oversee each property’s network infrastructure. Meyer Jabara will also ensure cybersecurity and provide data for backup or recovery and maintain help desk for hotels.

PM HOTEL GROUP EXPANDS IN PACIFIC NORTHWEST: PM Hotel Group has expanded its presence in the Pacific Northwest and has assumed management of the Holiday Inn Wilsonville, located in Wilsonville, Ore. The full-service hotel features a dining venue, fitness center, heated indoor pool and more than 14,000 square feet of event space. The hotel joins PM Hotel Group’s properties in the Portland Metro region, including Canopy by Portland, Sheraton Portland Airport, Hampton Inn Portland and Aloft Portland Airport. Based in the Washington, D.C. metro area, PM Hotel Group operates nearly 70 properties in the U.S.

HIGHGATE OPENS ADULTS-ONLY HOTEL IN HAWAII: Highgate has announced the opening of Romer House Waikiki, the adults-only hotel in Oahu. The reimagined 179-key hotel is the sister hotel to its neighbor, Romer Waikiki at the Ambassador. With interiors designed by IndiDesign Romer House Waikiki includes a revitalized restaurant and bar, a pool and bar, complimentary bike rentals and retail stores.

THE MILLS HOUSE INDUCTED INTO HISTORIC HOTELS OF AMERICA: The Mills House, Curio Collection by Hilton in Charleston, S.C. has been inducted into Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation to recognize, celebrate and promote historic hotels across the U.S. The Mills House joins over 300 hotels and resorts which are recognized by Historic Hotels of America. Originally established in 1853 by Otis Mills, a Charleston businessman, The Mills House offers guestrooms, dining venues, wedding and event space and several experiences. The iconic pink building completed a multi-million-dollar renovation in 2022, which saw the hotel become a part of the Curio Collection by Hilton as the brand’s first property in South Carolina.
