As the summer season begins, Knightsbridge stalwart, Sale e Pepe, has opened their summer terrace, with guests now able to indulge in Sale e Pepe’s authentic yet elevated Italian cuisine on their elegant terrace. Encapsulating a taste of ‘la dolce vita’, Sale e Pepe classics such as Vitello Milanese and Linguine all’Aragosta can be shared ‘famiglia’ style under the London sun. The menu also boasts a large selection of fresh crudo, antipasti and homemade pasta dishes – all perfect for a post-shopping bite. The terrace mimics the chic design of the restaurant, painted in the classic Sale e Pepe navy blue, lined with Italian white flowers, with tables dressed in crisp, white tablecloths.

Guests can also now indulge in Sale e Pepe’s newly introduced weekday set lunch menu offering 2 courses for £30 or 3 courses for £35 from a bi-weekly changing seasonal menu. Starters currently include the Asparagi Gratinati al Parmigiano, juicy asparagus cooked in butter with aged parmesan, a fresh roasted beetroot and mint salad with a balsamic dressing and Zuppa di Verdure Miste di Stagione.

For mains, guests can choose from a summery selection of grill dishes, all perfect to enjoy on the airy terrace. From Branzino alla Griglia, delicately grilled sea bass in a bright lemon butter sauce, to a succulent herb-marinated chicken served with arugula and sweet cherry tomatoes, or opt for Fregola pasta with grilled vegetables and warm ricotta.

Plus, it wouldn’t be a true taste of la dolce vita without dessert, of which a show-stopping Tiramasù della Casa is on offer. Scooped tableside, directly from the dish, with luxurious layers of cream and the flavour of Italian coffee – what sweeter way to end a summer evening?

Located in the heart of Knightsbridge, the restaurant has long been a destination for the elite, attracting a glittering clientele of politicians, film stars, fashion icons, and royalty. Celebrating its Golden Anniversary this year, Sale e Pepe continue to pride themselves on creating authentic, elevated Italian cuisine with impeccable service and fresh produce, 50 years on from opening their doors.
