Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is launching branded residences in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Stretching across 550 acres on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula, Rosewood Residences Old Lighthouse will debut as the luxury hospitality company’s inaugural standalone residential community.

The residences are being built in partnership with the Coppel family—one of Mexico’s wealthiest business families—which has preserved the El Faro Viejo, or “the Old Lighthouse,” site for more than 25 years.

The collection of Rosewood Residences will include secluded homes, ranging from 4,000 to 10,000-plus square feet, on roughly 0.7 acres of land.

The initial 144 residences will be crafted by architecture firm Gomez Vazquez International and interior design practice Studio Lifestyle to complement the area’s topography. Each residence will be designed to combine indoor and outdoor living spaces with a sense of timeless elegance.

Rosewood Residences Old Lighthouse will also feature ultra-luxury social and family-oriented amenities. The Cliff House, which will serve as the community hub, will house a five-star restaurant with a private dining room, a bar with live entertainment, and an outdoor events facility. This multi-level oceanfront space will be designed by Mexico City-based architect Manuel Cervantes Céspedes and interior designer Bibiana Huber Diaz.
