Kingston Resorts in Myrtle Beach, S.C., a multi-property resort owned by EOS Hospitality, has announced the appointment of Tim Arnold as Managing Director. Arnold brings decades of experience and a strong passion for the region to the resort. Overseeing day-to-day operations for 850 employees, over 1,200 guest rooms, six food and beverage outlets, and over 100,000 square feet of event space, Arnold will continue elevating the guest experience, ensuring Kingston Resorts continues its destination leadership on the Grand Strand.

“Tim brings an exceptional amount of experience in the hotel space to the Kingston Resorts team and we believe his strong leadership will further position the resort as a trailblazer within Myrtle Beach and beyond,” said EOS Hospitality vice president of operations, Gavin Philipp.

Arnold’s notable tenures also include management roles with AAA and Forbes-rated establishments such as Waldorf Astoria, Canyon Ranch, Fairmont, Margaritaville, and, most recently prior to Kalahari Resorts, the Auberge Resorts Collection. During his tenure at Auberge Residences in Ft. Lauderdale, Tim obtained CAM licensure, showcasing his commitment to effectively manage luxury residences within the owner’s association.

“As someone who has been in the industry for a while, I have admired the work EOS Hospitality has been doing and their evergrowing portfolio of hotels,” said Kingston Resorts managing director, Tim Arnold. “That said, I’m elated to join the team at Kingston Resorts to further amplify the exceptional property and welcome the newest chapter for the resort.”

In his spare time, Arnold enjoys spending time with his son and granddaughter. A passionate gardener, cyclist and self-proclaimed “beach bum,” when not with his family he travels the world, with a particular passion for South America and Europe.
