Dusit International, the Thailand-based hotel and property development company, is expanding its presence in Bangkok and has added a new, upscale hotel and luxury residences to its portfolio. The Thai company has signed an agreement with Bangkok-based King Square Development Co. Ltd. to manage Dusit Suites Kingsquare, Bangkok and KingsQuare Residence. Both projects are scheduled to open in 2026.

Both the properties are located on Rama 3 Road, next to next to King’s College International School Bangkok, and will be a part of a new lifestyle complex, which will also have a mall.

Catering to both long-term as well as short-term guests, the Dusit Suites Kingsquare, Bangkok will have 60 hotel rooms and 49 serviced suites, ranging from twin rooms to two-bedroom suites. The property will include an all-day dining restaurant, a pool, kid’s club, co-working space, private lounge and a meeting room.

Dusit Hospitality Services, Dusit’s fully owned subsidiary, will manage the KingsQuare Residence. Designed as an urban retreat, the 52-story building will feature 222 residences ranging from one-bedroom homes to three-bedroom units. The tower will also have a penthouse and duplex penthouses. Home owners will be able to access a pool and barbecue terrace, co-kitchen and private dining space, kid’s playroom with a lawn, basketball court and private meeting space. Residents can avail on-demand services, such as housekeeping, laundry and 24-hour concierge.

Dusit Suites Kingsquare will be the ninth hotel to be managed by Dusit in Bangkok and the second in the city to offer a hotel as well as serviced suites (following Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri, Bangkok).

Dusit also manages four other luxury condominium projects in Bangkok under Dusit Hospitality Services.

Dusit has been adding to its global portfolio and also strengthening its position in Thailand. Dusit Thani Bangkok, the company’s revitalized flagship hotel, is set to open in September on the same site as its predecessor. Fully rebuilt from ground up, the luxury 257-key hotel will pay homage to its five-decade-long legacy. In June, the company joined hands with VillaCarte Group to manage a dual-branded luxury hotel and apartment complex in VillaCarte’s upcoming Layan Verde Project in Phuket.

Earlier this year, Dusit expanded its offerings and forayed into the all-inclusive space. Dusit’s hotel vertical, Dusit Hotels and Resorts, inked an agreement to manage dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives in the Maldives. Currently under construction, the 125-room lifestyle resort will operate under Dusit’s upscale dusitD2 brand and marks Dusit’s second property in the Maldives.

Globally, Dusit’s portfolio includes 301 properties across 18 countries, including 57 properties operating under Dusit Hotels and Resorts and 244 luxury villas under Elite Havens, the provider of luxury villa rentals in Asia, which Dusit acquired in 2018. Dusit has more than 50 properties in its pipeline.
