Cover-More UK appoints Ben Wooltorton as…

Travel and speciality insurance provider, Cover-More Group, has appointed Ben Wooltorton as managing director of its UK business. 

The group provides travel insurance, pet insurance, car hire insurance, gadget insurance and wedding insurance through direct-to-consumer brands and partnerships.

Wooltorton has been with Cover-More Group for five years, following Cover-More Group’s acquisition of Halo Insurance Services limited in 2017, where he was chief operating officer and part of the founding team. 

He has been the chief marketing officer for Cover-More Group in Europe since 2022, which he will retain the responsibilities for in his new role.

As the UK managing director, Wooltortonwill be responsible for creating the UK strategy, delivering growth through partnerships and direct to consumer websites, and for enhancing the core capabilities of the business as it continues to transition to an MGA model.

He will report to Cover-More Europe CEO, Donna Dorairajoo.

He said: “I’m excited to begin this new challenge. We have excellent brands, market-leading insurance products, and an exceptional team that it’s an honour to work with every day. 

“At Cover-More we offer many established flagship products in the UK, across different insurance verticals, both under our own brands and through distribution partnerships. 

“We have great strengths in digital marketing, first-class technology platforms and a passionate operations team, who really focus on delivering for our customers. I can’t wait to begin this next stage of my career with Cover-More.”
