Not to be confused with the Dorchester Collection owned Coworth Park’s Michelin-starred flagship Woven by Adam Smith, the restaurant is being overseen by chef Ryan Swift and is billed as a ‘stunning space that celebrates Ansty’s history of weaving’ that ‘threads the very best local flavours and British ingredients through the menu’.

The a la carte menu includes Isle of Wight tomatoes with watermelon and Kidderton Ash goat’s cheese; Ansty crumpet with Cornish crab meat, wasabi and caviar; stone bass with aubergine, peppers, courgette, basil; and apricot bakewell for two served with clotted cream ice cream.

Antsy Hall also has a dedicated space for afternoon tea, offering a £45 ‘High Chai’ offer that ‘continues to weave local flavours through its menu, alongside variations of Chai latte to compliment the typical array of teas guests would come to expect’.

Items will include coronation egg with Greek yogurt and wheat sprouts on a countryside bread; and freshly-baked fig and cardamom scones and plain scones served with Cornish clotted.

Just outside Coventry, the hotel has been part of the Exclusive Hotels portfolio since September last year and relaunched in July following a major refurbishment project.

Writing in a newsletter, Exclusive Hotels said it has spent the past 18 months “breathing new life” into Ansty Hall.

“We’re thrilled to officially welcome it into Exclusive Collection. Located in the little village of Ansty, overlooking Warwickshire countryside yet conveniently close to Coventry, our stunning red‍-‍bricked gem has been standing tall for 600 years – and trust us, it’s only just getting started. Ansty Hall is all about discovering stories and hidden treasures, from British classics with a twist in our restaurant, to charming artistic and historical touches around every corner.”

The first UK hotel company to achieve B Corp status, Exclusive Collection now operates four luxury hotels two country house venues, a golf club, two spas, a cookery school and a pub, including Pennyhill Park, South Lodge, The Manor House and Lainston House.
