It’s now in four new countries amid growing demand

The Visa At Your Doorstep (VAYD) service continues its expansion, adding four additional new countries.

Bulgaria, Iceland, Estonia and Slovenia, have all been added from the UK.

VFS Global’s VAYD service, offers applicants the convenience of completing their visa applications from their preferred location and is already offered to individuals and groups travelling from the UK to a number of countries including Italy, India, Denmark, Malta, Cyprus and South Africa. 

It enables travellers to submit application documents and enrol biometrics without visiting a physical visa application centre. 

The service involves trained professionals visiting the applicant’s preferred location to accept the relevant application documents and enrol biometrics. 

Anirudh Singh, chief operating officer, Europe and CIS at VFS Global, said: “Travel and tourism are steadily picking up to pre-pandemic levels, driving increased demand for Visa At Your Doorstep service from customers who want a more personalised service. 

“We are delighted to bring this service to even more countries, ensuring that travellers worldwide can enjoy the convenience and efficiency it offers. 

“This service witnessed a rise in demand during the pandemic because of many travellers preferring to avoid public spaces. Today’s growing trend of families, groups and individuals opting for Visa At Your Doorstep shows travellers valuing the extra comfort and convenience that it provides.
