Three restaurants awarded five AA Rosettes at the AA Hospitality Awards

Five restaurants were awarded four AA Rosettes, including Restaurant 1890 by Gordon Ramsay, Bybrook at The Manor House Hotel and Lumiere. 

Held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House last night (23 September), the awards are designed to ‘highlight’ the very best in British hospitality’ honouring achievements across 16 award categories (see below).    

Muse chef Tom Aikens was named as Chefs’ Chef of the Year while the AA Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Adrian Ellis MI FIH, the former general manager of the Lowry hotel in Manchester. 

Sue Williams – the former general manager of Whatley Manor – took home the AA’s Outstanding Contribution Award. 

“There was such an amazing group of chefs up for this award,” Aikens says. “It’s truly incredible to have actually won it. It’s not just about me, it’s about the whole team. I’m absolutely thrilled, it’s fantastic.”

AA Media managing director Simon Numphud added: “This incredible celebration is a true testament to the strength and innovation within our industry. The dedication and excellence demonstrated by all the hospitality teams have been nothing short of inspiring. Congratulations to all the winners, nominees, and new Rosette holders for their remarkable contributions.”
