Florida’s iconic Pink Palace®, The Don CeSar, is pleased to announce the appointment of Marina Baronas as director of food and beverage for the resort and its sister property, Beach House Suites. In this role, Baronas will oversee the properties’ banquet operations and six dining outlets including the award-winning Maritana, Society Table, Uncle Andy’s Market, The Rowe Bar, Lobby Bar, and Beacon Pool Bar & Lookout.

As a fifth-time food and beverage director, Baronas has nearly two decades of experience at luxury and independent properties. Most recently, she was the director of food and beverage at The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, where she oversaw $27 million in F&B sales, opened four dining outlets, and launched a high tea service. She previously served at the Omni Charlotte Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton in New Orleans, and Innisbrook Golf Resort in Tampa Bay.

“We are honored to have Marina join our team, as we recognize the dynamic experience and passion she will be bringing to her role,” said Barbara Readey, general manager of The Don CeSar and Beach House Suites. “We are always seeking ways to elevate our resort’s offerings, and we are confident that Marina will support us in doing just that. We look forward to learning from her guidance and creativity.”

A natural leader, Baronas’ high-energy personality and passion for hospitality have driven her successful career. Known for her upscale activations, she has vast experience in driving guest and team member engagement. With a bachelor’s in hospitality management, Baronas recently furthered her studies by earning a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida.

Following a full-property renovation completed in March 2022, The Don CeSar, managed by Davidson Resorts, shines brighter than ever. The National Historic Landmark offers six restaurants and lounges, an award-winning spa, a new state-of-the-art fitness center and a private beach, serving as an iconic property for rest and relaxation on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
