Young & Co.’s Brewery P.L.C., the premium pub group, is set to expand its portfolio of pubs further with the opening of its newest site, Teller’s Arms, this October.

Teller’s Arms, previously an old bank located in the heart of Farnham in Surrey, has undergone an extensive transformation to create a 168-capacity pub with rooms. Complete with nine boutique bedrooms, an all-day dining space, bar, expansive roof terrace and meeting and events spaces, the versatile pub will offer an allday dining menu from Head Chef Ryan Patterson, which focuses on the best of seasonal British produce, together with a selection of local craft and draught beers.

The design, led by Harrison agency, will be inspired by the building’s history and sympathetic to its heritage with original features such as fireplaces and the original Teller’s clock protected. Smart finishing features wooden herringbone flooring, Victorian tiling and chandeliers fused with bright and colourful interiors and modern decor. Come spring 2025, a retractable roof will also be added to the rooftop terrace for alfresco dining, no matter the weather.

In an ideal location for work trips and weekend getaways, the pub will also be home to nine individually designed bedrooms. Each will nod to the pub’s nearby surroundings, including Farnham’s Bishop Meadow, with decorations and designs provided from local suppliers to support businesses in the area.

On the opening, Simon Dodd, CEO at Young & Co.’s Brewery P.L.C. comments: “We are delighted to be opening Teller’s Arms in the heart of Farnham, bringing a new pub offering to the
high street. In-keeping with our ongoing strategy to celebrate venues with heritage, the new pub will offer a premium experience which blends the history of the site with the charm of a country pub and we look forward to welcoming guests from near and far.”

Close to Farnham Station and just an hour outside of London by train, the pub with rooms will be a destination for locals, city dwellers and tourists alike. Spanning across London and the South of England, Young’s now operates 42 premium pubs with rooms under its Young’s Room arm, which runs alongside the wider pub portfolio.
