Launched during the pandemic by friends George Hartshorn, Chris Gibson and Ollie Patterson, the 90-cover venture offers an upmarket pub menu and has become well known for its roasts.

The trio say that while the pub – which is located within a Grade II-listed former horse hospital and stable – has been successful the tourist-heavy, seasonal nature of the area has prompted them to seek new locations for future neighborhood sites, with a focus on attracting a more local audience.

To mark its final month, The Farrier is plating up London’s largest Sunday roast menu, featuring 10 different serves from classic cuts to rare game and poultry with current head chef Jake Perry ‘inviting Londoners to enjoy a last taste of The Farrier before its doors close, with more exciting plans in the pipeline’.

“We’re incredibly proud of what the team has achieved with The Farrier, especially launching during the challenges of the pandemic and becoming a valued part of Camden’s vibrant tapestry,” says Hartshorn.

“While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter, we’re excited to rebuild and bring our hospitality offering to new neighbourhoods across London.”

The Farrier’s final service will be on 3 November and it will continue to run its usual Monday – Saturday lunch and dinner services until then.
