Repeat bookings by existing members also saw a boost
Travel subscription platform and one of Europe’s largest e-commerce businesses has wrapped up its eDreams Prime Day by setting a new company milestone – the largest number of weekly accommodation bookings in its history.
In addition, it set a record for new subscribers joining the programme and saw the largest number of travel partners participating.
The data showed that those airlines participating with dedicated offers saw 94% higher growth in their bookings compared to non-participating carriers.
This year’s Prime Day edition saw a 21% increase in new subscribers compared to the previous week, marking an all-time high and underscoring the platform’s ability to attract fresh audiences.
In addition to the influx of new members, the campaign saw repeat bookings rise by 29% among current members.
These results showcase the platform’s ability to consistently engage Prime members by offering exclusive, personalized travel deals on flights, accommodations, dynamic packages, and car rentals. Powered by AI technology, these tailored offers not only meet specific travel needs but also significantly enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Frédéric Esclapez, Chief Marketing Officer at eDreams ODIGEO said: “We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to the 10th edition of our Prime Day.
“The exceptional involvement of airlines and hotels, which went above and beyond to provide additional exclusive deals for members, further highlights the strength of our partnerships and the unique value we bring to both our members and partners.”
Prime currently has 6.2 million members and is on track to reach 7.25 million subscribers by the end of March 2025.
