 Decentralised travel identity technology firm TRAVLR ID, and UMBRELLA, a leader in traveller profile management have announced a brand-new, first-of-its kind strategic partnership.

The firms believe this strategic alliance is “poised to revolutionise” the travel industry by combining TRAVLR ID’s traveller profile innovation with the extensive industry reach and expertise of UMBRELLA.

The collaboration wants to enable TMCs to benefit from the advantages of identity management based on blockchain technology.

Umbrella Faces will build the bridge connecting the blockchain based identity management to the current booking technology used by TMCs.

The partnership will open the path to explore avenues to bring enhanced offerings to market.

Through this partnership, TRAVLR ID and UMBRELLA aim to advance the ways in which profile management is utilised in the travel industry today.

Gee Mann, CEO of TRAVLR ID, said: “Our collaboration with UMBRELLA signifies a turning point in the evolution of traveller profile technologies.

This strategic partnership will leverage both companies’ technology for elevated solutions and experiences for travellers, corporations, and Travel Management Companies (TMCs).
