Shore Hotel, situated on Ocean Avenue in the heart of Santa Monica, is delighted to introduce Conrad Gass as its new Director of Food & Beverage. With his arrival timed perfectly for the launch of the hotel’s new coastal-inspired restaurant Shoreside, Conrad looks forward to leading the Shore Hotel team towards a successful opening.

Conrad brings over twenty years of experience and a deep passion for the culinary and mixology industry to his role as Food & Beverage Director at Shore Hotel. While earning a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, he began his managerial career at the Wynn & Encore Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas as the Food & Beverage Manager. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he helped relaunch the 1 Hotel West Hollywood as Senior Operations Manager of Food & Beverage. Prior to joining the Shore Hotel team, Conrad was the Food & Beverage Manager at The Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica.

Conrad excels in all aspects of food and beverage management, with deep knowledge of the culinary space, event hosting, luxury hotel operations, VIP guest experiences, and more. He has proven to be an exceptional manager, successfully launching multiple marketing and promotional programs for both restaurants and nightlife concepts.

“We are very grateful to welcome Conrad to the Shore Hotel and Shoreside team,” said Jon Farzam, CEO of Shore Hotel. “His experience and vision aligns perfectly with our mission to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience. We look forward to working with him to introduce Shoreside to the Santa Monica community, and are confident that we are in good hands.”

Under Conrad’s leadership, guests can look forward to a memorable dining experience at Shore Hotel’s new oceanfront restaurant and social hub, Shoreside, opening this September. The new opening promises to inspire a sense of place, drawing from its coastal setting to create a true lifestyle destination in the heart of Santa Monica. Soon to be Santa Monica’s newest hotspot and “outdoor living room,” Shoreside combines Southern California’s charm with exceptional dining and breathtaking views. Just steps away from the iconic Santa Monica Pier and Third Street Promenade, the 76-seat modern lifestyle restaurant and bar will offer contemporary California cuisine and cocktails with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, making it the ideal coastal destination.
