I’m delighted to welcome Quotelo to the Mews team, a move that has incredibly exciting potential for all current and future Mews customers.

It’s a landmark tenth acquisition for the Mews Ventures team, who deserve immense credit for their work in finding the best hospitality talent out there and navigating the complex waters of bringing them into our company.

Of these ten acquisitions, seven were fellow property management systems, and three were hospitality software products in their own right. The first of these specialists was Bizzon, now known as Mews POS, and the second was Nomi, an AI-powered tour guide that provides personalized recommendations. And now, Quotelo, an innovative hospitality event management solution. Here’s everything you need to know.

Why events management?

Mews is committed to providing remarkable hospitality experiences, not only for guests but also for staff and businesses. It should be easy for hoteliers to run a business that suits their vision, whether that’s a traditional room-first hotel, blended stays with multiple space types, or a MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) specialist.

More and more properties are rethinking their real estate. In fact, I’ve written before about the future of mixed-used spaces. Two of the driving factors behind this shift are the changing work and travel habits of travelers, and the evolution of hospitality technology. It’s easier than ever for hoteliers to strengthen their business by diversifying their offering, but while some of this demand can be managed through a smart reservation system, when it comes to events at scale, a specialist solution is required.

Hoteliers can already manage and sell multiple space types through Mews. In fact, over 1,500 already do. The next logical step was finding an events management specialist that we could partner with, so we can continue to help hoteliers drive more revenue and save more time through streamlined, connected operations.

Why Quotelo?

That’s why MICE and group bookings were on the agenda. So why did we land with Quotelo? First of all – and perhaps most importantly – they are a hugely talented, innovative and likeable team. As with any Mews acquisition, we look to welcome the entire team into the Mews fold, and integrating Tristan (Gibausset, Co-CEO and Co-Founder) and his colleagues has been a real pleasure. The team is based in France, which is a perfect fit given the recent move to our new Paris office and the news that we surpassed 1,000 customers across the country.

Then, of course, there’s the product itself. Quotelo offers a new generation of customer-centric event hospitality, simplifying quotation, booking and management. There are so many strings to its bow, including:

  • An intuitive and streamlined booking engine dedicated to MICE and Groups
  • Digitalized and automated quotations
  • Orchestrating bookings from hours to months
  • Room and event space planning visible to all staff members
  • Digital function sheets for seamless event execution

We can’t wait for Mews hoteliers – present and future – to discover the platform and see how transformative it is and how much time it can save.

The power of choice

We’re working hard to ensure Quotelo remains one of the very best event management tools on the market. However, that doesn’t change our commitment to an open marketplace. Hoteliers can – and should – continue to choose the solutions that are best suited to their business needs, and we have plenty of incredible partners on Mews Marketplace.

In 2025, Quotelo will be fully integrated into Mews so that any customer can easily select it as an add-on. We’re really excited to share more information about this once we’re closer to the finish line, so watch this space.

I’d like to leave the final word to Tristan, who shared his own eagerness at the news:

“Mews’ focus on simplifying and automating operations for hoteliers is truly aligned to our vision of revolutionizing and rehumanizing event hospitality. We are excited to join forces with Mews as we set a new standard for hospitality.”

If you think your hospitality business would be a great partner for Mews, why not contact our Mews Ventures team and start a confidential conversation?
