This festive season, Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, a five-star hotel in the heart of Mayfair, invites guests of all ages to step into the heartwarming world of That Christmas with a specially curated afternoon tea in collaboration with Netflix. Launching on 21 November in the hotel’s iconic Art Deco Palm Court, this festive experience captures the heartwarming tales and festive magic of the film through an inspired menu of sweet treats, savoury bites, and seasonal beverages.

That Christmas Afternoon Tea in Palm Court

Premiering on Netflix on 4 December, That Christmas, based on the books by Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Notting Hill) tells a series of entwined holiday tales filled with humor, love, and delightful surprises. Sheraton Grand London Park Lane’s That Christmas afternoon tea brings the film’s beloved scenes and characters to life, creating an immersive culinary journey.

Guests can enjoy specially curated cakes, including the ‘Officially Nice’ Sour Cherry and Pistachio Macaron, Dasher’s Salted Caramel Mousse, Passionfruit Snowman Chestnut Cake and Gingerbread Opera cake. These are paired with festive sandwiches, including the Coronation Norfolk Turkey Sandwich and the Salmon Wellington, inspired by the fictional town of Wellington-on-Sea, and orange, cinnamon and cranberry scones.

Festive Décor to Complete the Experience

From 27 November, the hotel itself will join the festive celebration as its facade lights up, casting a warm, cinematic glow over Mayfair. Guests can look forward to discovering festive décor both inside and out, with Christmas-inspired touches on the Smith & Whistle terrace, hinting at the magical world of That Christmas.
