Orelle marks the start of the festive season with an exclusive partnership with world-renowned champagne producer, Laurent-Perrier, a new Christmas cocktail menu and a makeover for the rooftop bar area.

Birmingham’s iconic skyline restaurant, Orelle, is starting the festivities with a limited-edition seasonal menu, in collaboration with Laurent-Perrier.

Laurent-Perrier, a family-owned Champagne House, has long been a pioneer and innovator in the Champagne industry. Since the 1950s, Laurent-Perrier has crafted a collection of wines that emphasise freshness, finesse, and elegance, designed to perfectly complement French cuisine.

Guests can indulge in a glass or bottle of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut or share a bottle of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée, Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Iteration No 26, Laurent-Perrier Héritage or Laurent-Perrier Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature.

The exclusive partnership will run until January and also includes a new bar snacks menu featuring perfect pairings including Jersey Rock Oysters with Mignonette dressing, truffle and Parmesan frites, 24 month-aged warm comté gougères and a charcuterie platter.

The Champagne and new bar snacks will be served in Orelle’s stunning rooftop bar area, which has unrivalled, panoramic views of Birmingham city and beyond. To allow additional guests to take in the sights, Orelle has added 8 new poseur tables and 24 stools, giving the bar area a new look, just in time for Christmas.

The new and improved skyline has also launched an exclusive Christmas cocktail menu, including the Golden Bauble, which has been inspired by the twinkling Christmas lights of Colmore Row and beyond.

The Golden Bauble, created by Orelle’s own mixologist Tiago Bastos, is a delicious blend of spiced rum, coconut water and cold brew coffee liqueur, with decadent white chocolate and a hint of warm Cinnamon spices.

Additional Christmas cocktails include Terry’s Orange which features Cognac, Amaro dark chocolate and orange foam as a twist on the iconic Christmas chocolate treat and a Ginger Snowball which mixes the creamy richness of Advocaat with white vermouth, lime juice and warming tones of cinnamon syrup and ginger ale.

Also on the new menu is a decadent Rum & Coconut Hot Chocolate for a tropical twist on a favourite winter warmer and Orelle’s version of the classic Christmas tipple, Mulled Wine.

Natasha Levy, Senior Marketing Manager, said “Christmas is one of the best times of the year to enjoy the atmosphere and views from Orelle, and we’re really excited to be partnering with Laurent-Perrier, to make the season even more magical.

“Our new Executive Chef, Kiran Survana, has developed exquisite snacks and dishes to match the freshness and finesse of the Champagne, and our Bar Manager Tiago Bastos has created some delicious cocktails to make Christmas drinks out even more special. We can’t wait to welcome guests to our new, more spacious bar area, to celebrate the festive season in style.”
