The Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town announced that Nathaniel Johns will join as the property’s General Manager, effective immediately. Johns will function as the strategic business leader for the property and will oversee business development, financial performance, community engagement and guest and employee satisfaction.

Johns is an accomplished hospitality General Manager with more than 16 years of experience leading full-service hotel teams and owners to performance and operational success within Marriott, Hilton and other major brands. He earned a Bachelor’s in Business Management from McNeese State University. His guiding philosophy, “clean, friendly, well maintained”, has been the cornerstone of his success and earned him a reputation for delivering memorable guest experiences.

“The Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena is more than a hotel, it is an elevated experience for business and leisure travelers,” said Nathaniel Johns, General Manager of The Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town. “This is a unique opportunity to raise the bar for hospitality in Pasadena, where we will continue to honor the city’s history and deliver high-quality service for our guests.”

Under Johns’ leadership, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena will continue to offer an elevated experience that blends Pasadena’s historic charm with modern luxury. The property recently underwent a $12.8 million renovation, and now features an updated bar, gym and 314 guest rooms designed for the comfort and functionality of business and leisure guests.
