Preferred Hotels & Resorts is expanding its global portfolio with the addition of 10 new luxury openings from September 2024 through 2025.

The new additions span a range of locations, from a contemporary hotel in central London to a private island hideaway in the Caribbean.

“We are excited to unveil these highly anticipated new openings, including two standout properties joining our Legend Collection, which represents ultra-luxury hospitality,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, CEO of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. “We can’t wait to invite travelers to explore new corners of the world and discover unique experiences through our newest properties.”

ÓROS in Crete, Greece will open in May 2025 and join the L.V.X. Collection.

Some of the new openings include:

  • Peter Island Resort at the Peter Island, British Virgin Islands — The newly rebuilt and reimagined Peter Island Resort on a Caribbean private island opened earlier this month. The resort includes five beaches and 52 room, suite and villa accommodations, along with an infinity pool overlooking Deadman’s Beach and a 10,000-square-foot spa with seven treatment rooms, a fitness center, saltwater pool and an alfresco hot tub. Additional amenities include two restaurants, a full-service marina and a range of outdoor activities.
  • Royal Hideaway Corales Villas in Tenerife, Spain — Slated to join the L.V.X. and Residence Collections in March 2025, the property has been designed by architect Leonardo Omar. Featuring 139 rooms and suites with views of the Atlantic Ocean and La Gomera, the hotel has a dedicated wellness area, two a la carte restaurants, a pool bar, breakfast buffet and a cocktail bar.
  • ÓROS in Crete, Greece — Launching in May 2025 as part of the L.V.X. Collection, the property is located on the slopes of the White Mountains of Western Crete overlooking the Cretan Sea. The beach resort consists of 117 rooms, suites and villas along with four restaurants, three bars and lounges, an adults-only pool, spa and wellness center and conference spaces.
  • The Newman in London — Joining the Legend Collection in summer 2025, this is the first hotel under hospitality management company Kinsfolk & Co. Located in the Fitzrovia village in central London, the hotel has been designed by Pernille Lind and Richy Almond of Lind + Almond. The 81-room hotel offers a signature suite with a private terrace, dining, relaxation and wellness space on the rooftop. Other amenities include a brasserie, cocktail bar, two private dining rooms, dedicated wellness floor, a salt therapy room, hydrotherapy pool, treatment room and a gym.
  • Romègas Hotel in Valletta, Malta — Set to open in Malta’s capital in June 2025, the historic hotel will become a part of the L.V.X. Collection. The hotel is a restored 500-year-old palazzo originally built for the Knight of Malta, Mathurin Romègas. The restoration, led by EM Architects, preserves the building’s heritage while introducing modern elements. The hotel will have 23 rooms and suites, with interiors designed by Camilleri Paris Mode. Amenities include a destination restaurant, bar and a rooftop pool with views of Valletta, the bay and Manoel Island.

Other new openings in Q3 and Q4 2024 include Dusit Thani Bangkok in Bangkok (L.V.X. Collection); Villa Dahlia in Stockholm (Lifestyle Collection); Pendry Natirar in New Jersey (L.V.X. Collection); Maison Albar – Le Vicoria in Nice, France (L.V.X. Collection); and The Visions Resort & Spa in Florida (Lifestyle & Residences Collections).
