Preferred Hotels & Resorts to add 10 new properties in 2024-2025

Preferred Hotels & Resorts, has announced the addition of 10 new luxury properties to its portfolio, scheduled to open between September 2024 and 2025. These new hotels will offer a variety of locations, from urban retreats in London to serene escapes on private islands.

Key Openings in 2024-2025

– Peter Island Resort – British Virgin Islands (Opening December 2024)
The Peter Island Resort, located on a private island, will join the Legend Collection. The resort will offer 52 rooms, suites, and villas, all with ocean views. Guests can enjoy several outdoor activities, including diving and hiking, as well as amenities such as a 10,000-square-foot spa, two restaurants, and a full-service marina.

– Royal Hideaway Corales Villas – Tenerife, Spain (Opening March 2025)
Royal Hideaway Corales Villas, designed by architect Leonardo Omar, will feature 139 rooms and suites in the coastal area of Costa Adeje. The property will offer a wellness area, two à la carte restaurants, a pool bar, and a cocktail bar, providing an environment for relaxation and fine dining.

– ÓROS – Crete, Greece (Opening May 2025)
ÓROS, located in Western Crete, will combine contemporary luxury with local architectural styles. The resort will have 117 rooms, suites, and villas, four restaurants, a spa, and a fitness center. It will also have family-friendly amenities, such as a kids’ club and a family pool.

– The Newman – London, United Kingdom (Opening Summer 2025)
Located in the Fitzrovia district, The Newman will feature 81 guest rooms and suites. The hotel will also offer a rooftop suite with a private terrace, a wellness floor, a European brasserie, and a cocktail bar.

– Romègas Hotel – Valletta, Malta (Opening June 2025)
Romègas Hotel, located in the heart of Valletta, will offer 23 rooms in a 500-year-old palazzo. The hotel’s design will blend traditional Maltese architecture with modern amenities. Guests will have access to a rooftop pool, a destination restaurant, and views of Valletta’s Bay and Manoel Island.

Other Notable Openings in 2024

In addition to the above, several new properties will open in the latter half of 2024:

  • Dusit Thani Bangkok (September 2024) – A revitalized hotel blending Thai heritage with contemporary design, located in downtown Bangkok. The property will offer 257 rooms, several dining venues, and a luxurious spa.
  • Villa Dahlia (September 2024) –  A sustainable hotel in central Stockholm with 103 rooms, a bistro, a courtyard with a cocktail bar, and a holistic spa.
  • Pendry Natirar (October 2024) – A resort in New Jersey set in a restored 1912 Tudor-style mansion with 66 rooms. It features a farm-to-table restaurant, a spa, and outdoor activities such as hiking and biking.
  • Maison Albar – Le Victoria (November 2024) – Located near Nice’s old town, this hotel offers 132 rooms, a rooftop pool, spa, luxury shopping gallery, and a Mediterranean-inspired rooftop restaurant.
  • The Visions Resort & Spa (December 2024) –  A resort near Walt Disney World featuring residential-style accommodations and wellness facilities, such as a cinema, sports courts, and a spa.

Preferred Hotels & Resorts Collections

These new openings will join the brand’s four global collections—Legend, L.V.X., Lifestyle, and Preferred Residences. Each collection is tailored to different guest preferences, offering a range of luxury experiences. Additionally, all properties are part of the I Prefer Hotel Rewards program.
