B&B HOTELS continues its dynamic expansion strategy in Europe, with 48 hotel openings planned for this year, including 38 acquisitions and 10 new developments. These openings mark a turning point for the company, strengthening its presence in several key regions and supporting its position in the European hospitality market.
With the recent openings in Frankfurt-Oder, Hagen, Idar-Oberstein, as well as in St. Pölten, Aalborg, and Warsaw, B&B HOTELS is consolidating its growth in Germany while expanding its reach into Austria, Scandinavia, and Poland. Additionally, new hotels are set to open in December in Wismar, Bruchsal-Karlsdorf, and Kalisz. These expansions are part of an ambitious plan that has seen nearly 60 lease agreements signed in 2024.
“These 48 openings, including 38 acquisitions and 10 new developments, perfectly illustrate our consistent development strategy. These regions offer tremendous potential, not only for the growth of our brand but also for the tourism development of the sites concerned. We place particular emphasis on sustainability and social responsibility, integrating these values into the management of each hotel to make a positive contribution to local communities and the environment.” – Tobias Gollnest, Development Director for B&B HOTELS in Central and Northern Europe.

Expansion in Austria: St. Pölten Welcomes Its First B&B HOTEL
B&B HOTELS is also continuing its development in Austria with the opening of a new hotel in St. Pölten, the country’s youngest capital. This new 105-room property, located near the main train station and within walking distance of major tourist attractions such as St. Pölten Cathedral and the Landestheater Niederösterreich, will be inaugurated in the presence of Mayor Matthias Stadler. This project highlights B&B Hotels’ strategy to establish itself in high-potential tourist areas while offering services tailored to the needs of both business and leisure travelers.
With these new openings, B&B HOTELS continues to strengthen its European presence while adhering to its commitments to social and environmental responsibility.
