Kerzner International recently revealed a series of strategic appointments aimed at strengthening its market position and preparing the company for continued growth. As part of a major reorganization, the company has created three distinct brand verticals, each overseen by dedicated leaders who will report directly to CEO Philippe Zuber.
The verticals include the One&Only, Atlantis, and SIRO/Rare Finds brands, with specific leaders appointed to head each division. This brand-centered approach will allow for better agility in adapting to market changes, while continuing to drive innovation and creativity within the group.
Strategic Appointments to Support This Transformation
Kerzner has appointed Mark Kirby as President of One&Only, effective January 6, 2025. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kirby has held key positions within the Emaar Hospitality Group, overseeing more than 30 hotels and residences across the Middle East and beyond. His expertise in operational management and strategic development will be a major asset in strengthening One&Only’s position in the global market, while fostering a culture of exceptional service and innovation.
Mattheos Georgiou, previously Global Vice President of Operations, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of SIRO and Rare Finds. Since joining Kerzner, he has played a crucial role in enhancing global operational standards. Under his leadership, SIRO and Rare Finds will continue to expand their reach while maintaining the authenticity of their respective identities. Mattheos embodies collaboration and operational excellence, having helped several resort managers rise to executive positions.
Finally, Paul Baker, who was recently recruited in August 2024, is taking the reins of Atlantis. With nearly 20 years of international hospitality experience, including strategic roles in Las Vegas, Malaysia, and Macau, Paul is a well-recognized leader in the industry. His deep knowledge of global markets and ability to lead teams in complex environments perfectly positions Atlantis to continue its global development.
