Me and All Hotel is preparing to widen its reach and open its first hotel outside Germany. Hyatt Hotels announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a franchise agreement with a subsidiary of Lindner Hotel Group for the Me and All Hotel Flims in Switzerland.
Located in the Grisons Alps, this will be the brand’s first property to open since Me and All Hotel became a standalone brand within Hyatt’s lifestyle portfolio. Me and All Hotel Flims also marks the fifth Hyatt-branded hotel in Switzerland.
The hotel will have 73 keys, including 47 guestrooms and 26 apartments. The hotel is located in an area that is home to one of Switzerland’s largest ski destinations, the Flims-Laax-Falera resort, with 136 miles of slopes and 205 miles of bike trails for off-season adventures. The hotel can be accessed via road and train from Zurich and the Zurich Airport.
“This hotel represents a significant milestone as Me and All Hotels’ first venture beyond Germany, marking an important step in Hyatt’s ambitious expansion plans for the brand,” said Michel Morauw, managing director North EAME, Hyatt. “True to the brand’s DNA, Me and All Hotel Flims will serve as a community hub in this mountain town.”
The hotel will have multiple dining venues, with a focus on sustainable, locally sourced ingredients. The communal spaces will feature year-round entertainment programming. The hotel will have a sun deck overlooking the Alpine peaks, après-ski, an in-house cinema, a spa and fitness area spanning over 9,149 square feet as well as meeting and conference spaces, including 1,442 square feet of dedicated meeting rooms including the multi-functional screening rooms.
The upcoming property is part of the conversion-friendly brand’s expansion plans in Europe and beyond. The brand is known for blending local flavors, community spirit and modern amenities. The hotels have a lean operating model and flexible design making them suitable both for conversion as well as new-build projects.
“Me and All Hotel Flims exemplifies the brand’s conversion-friendliness, with remarkable flexibility to adapt to both urban and resort destinations to create a space where locals and guests can come together to connect,” said Briana Swift, RVP development, Northern Europe, Hyatt. “Switzerland is a natural market for the Me and All Hotel brand’s debut beyond Germany, and we remain committed to exploring opportunities to expand the brand across the wider DACH region and greater Europe.”
Earlier this year, Hyatt acquired Me and All Hotels from family-owned German hotel company, Lindner Hotels AG. The brand was earlier a nested brand within Hyatt’s JdV by Hyatt brand. Launched in 2016 as Lindner’s urban lifestyle sister brand, Me and All Hotels’ portfolio has grown to six hotels with more than 1,000 rooms across Germany. The acquisition builds on the partnership that Hyatt and Lindner entered into in 2022, which helped Hyatt grow its footprint in Germany and Europe. All Lindner Hotels & Resorts properties and Me and All Hotels have been integrated into the World of Hyatt loyalty program.
