WorldHotels, a dynamic brand within the BWH℠ Hotels portfolio, announced the development of a new hotel project in the country of Georgia set to open in Kobuleti in 2028. Currently undergoing construction, the new property will represent one of the first projects for WorldHotels in Georgia and debut the first hard-branded property in the EMEA region. Upon its completion, the WorldHotels Kobuleti will bring a first-of-its-kind, five-star beachside vacation and living experience to the destination, offering a full slate of amenities and features.

Capitol HPS, the developer of BWH Hotels in Georgia and the WorldHotels Kobuleti property, is dedicated to promoting tourism and infrastructure in the region. The luxury project is being constructed by GEUZ International, and it will encompass two 47-story twin towers. Once complete, the project will house an 1100-key WorldHotels-branded resort. Guests and residents can expect top-of-the-line amenities, including restaurants and bars with panoramic views, a conference hall, meeting and co-working rooms, underground parking, and a fitness center and spa. Additional signature benefits and experiences will include a 200-seat cinema, a therapy and cosmetology clinic, infinity swimming pools, grocery and souvenir shops, and a private beach.

“This is an incredibly unique hotel in a one-of-a-kind destination,” said Wytze Vandenberg, Vice President of International Operations and WorldHotels for BWH Hotels in EMEA. “We have been involved since the early stages of this project and are excited to add it to our portfolio of amazing properties. We are seeing tourism expand exponentially, and with travelers eager to explore cultural destinations, we believe bringing WorldHotels to the beautiful country of Georgia is a natural fit.”

WorldHotels is entering the region at an exciting time as tourism continues to grow. Recent data from the Georgian National Tourism Administration suggests that a substantial amount of Georgia’s tourism comes from neighboring countries, and the government is prioritizing the promotion of Georgia as an all-season travel destination. Kobuleti is a well-known resort town in the country, and the new WorldHotels property will be centrally located among the area’s top tourist attractions, including Petra Castle and Petra Museum, Tsitsinatela Attraction Park, Kintrishi National Park, Dendrological Park, and the “Black Sea Arena” concert hall.

“I am thrilled to witness the development of this luxury beachside wellness resort in Kobuleti, Georgia, proudly operating under the WorldHotels Elite brand,” said Sulkhan Khalvashi, Managing Partner of Advance Consulting LLC, GEUZ International’s consulting partner in the project. “This project is a testament to the shared commitment of elevating the hospitality experience and setting new standards in wellness tourism.”
