Deal is for a direct integration

European OTA Kiwi.com and Philippines’ airline, Sunlight Air, have signed a partnership agreement.

A move that’s said to be a “shared purpose of both organisations” will see Kiwi.com customers benefit from the airline’s best fares.

Kiwi.com hopes to bring airlines increased visibility in markets where they do not operate or invest in brand advertising.

“This direct integration with Sunlight Air is great news for global travellers who rely on Kiwi.com to search and book unique travel options,” said Golan Shaked, chief commercial officer of Kiwi.com.

“Customers will have access to the best prices from Sunlight Air and thanks to Kiwi.com’s innovative technology, greater choice and a streamlined customer experience.”

Ryna Brito-Garcia, chief executive officer of Sunlight Air, added: “At Sunlight Air, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and seamless travel experiences. We wanted a partner who shares the same commitment to customer excellence.

“Partnering with Kiwi.com extends our reach to new customers around the world, and we are excited to welcome more travelers to discover the beauty of the Philippines.”
