AI-driven marketplace offers crypto payment options and gamified rewards

“Neo travel service” Solartrip has expanded its service into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, to offer local travellers “a new way to plan and experience their trips”.

Marketed to “the modern, tech-savvy traveller”, Solartrip integrates travel inventory from partners such as Amadeus, Expedia and Booking.com and claims to provides access to more than 800 airlines and 2.5 million accommodation options worldwide.

The platform aims to streamline the journey planning process, integrating artificial intelligence-driven personalisation, cryptocurrency payment options and gamified loyalty rewards.

The company said it was tapping into increased trust of artificial intelligence (AI) for planning activities, citing a report that claimed 60% of UAE travellers trusted AI as a source of travel information.

“Our mission is to make global travel effortless and accessible, leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide a seamless booking experience,” said Michael Sokolov, CEO and co-founder.

“We fuse travel and tech to push the boundaries of self-discovery. With our recent launch in Dubai, we’re bringing this vision to one of the world’s most vibrant hubs, connecting travellers to innovative tools that enhance their journeys.”
