SLS Hotels & Residences is bringing its standalone branded homes to Uruguay. The hotel brand under Ennismore is set to open luxury residences, along with an 80-room hotel, in Punta del Este.

Overlooking the Playa Brava and the Atlantic Ocean, SLS Punta del Este Residences features 314 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses.

Developed by GNV Group in partnership with SLS Hotels & Residences, the property will consist of two towers designed by architecture firm Gómez Platero. Interiors, created by U.S.-based design studio Reprtwär, blend contemporary art and SLS’s signature design elements with panoramic views of the coastline.

Catering to both private owners as well as investors, the residences range from 67 to 223 square meters and offer a suite of upscale amenities, including two signature restaurants, a rooftop pool and bar, spa and a fitness center. Residents can also access an indoor pool and a yoga studio, as well as on-demand services like housekeeping, room service and valet.

“The combination of SLS and this enviable location is something special. We are bringing something entirely new to Punta del Este with the introduction of its very first hotel-branded residences. SLS Punta del Este will offer a level of luxury, service and amenities that is rare to find in the city’s existing residential offering,” said Alejandro Ginevra, director of GNV Group, emphasized the project’s unique value.

The destination felt like a “natural choice” for SLS’ debut in Uruguay, said Chadi Farhat, brand COO of SLS Hotels & Residences. “Renowned for its pristine beaches and vibrant cultural scene, Punta del Este is fast becoming an international hotspot.”

The project is supported by Accor One Living, a platform specializing in branded residential communities, and underscores the rapid growth of the branded residences sector.

Ennismore currently operates more than 35 branded residential properties globally, with more in development.
