London-based hospitality and lifestyle brand Mason & Fifth announce bookings are set to go live on January 28th for its largest location in Westbourne Park, set to open in June 2025.
Following the continued success of the brand’s boutique guesthouses in Primrose Hill and Bermondsey, Westbourne Park will be the first of its kind for flexible stays in the UK – offering a full ecosystem of accommodation, wellness, cultural events and culinary experiences under one roof, whether guests are staying for just a night or settling in for longer.
This is the brand’s biggest location to date, with 332 furnished private studios now available to book ahead of its summer opening. Designed with sustainability and comfort in mind, every studio will feature a luxury bed, natural bed linen, TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a waterfall shower. Guests can either stay in a studio with a kitchenette, complete with top of the range appliances and hand-picked cookware and tableware, or in an ‘Out & About’ studio, designed without kitchens for those on the go in the bustling city.
A series of local partnerships with bespoke designers will form Mason & Fifth’s elegant yet homely feel. London’s Jan Hendzel will provide bespoke chopping boards in every studio, which will also be available to purchase at the inhouse store. Jay Achillies will design a collection of tables and cabinetry, alongside local makers Yarn Collective, Westhouse Pottery and Blast Studio, amongst others.
London-based fashion designer Nicholas Daley, renowned for his unique fusion of music, subculture and style, will dress the House Team, reflecting the space’s comfortable, home-from-home aesthetic.
Located in the iconic Taxi House building, the former headquarters of the London Taxi Drivers’ Association, Westbourne Park inherits a wealth of history and culture and is set to breathe new life into the area for the benefit of the local community and visitors alike. Westbourne Park is the perfect hub for exploring London’s renowned districts, including the nearby Little Venice, the bustling antique shops of Golborne Road and independent markets of Portobello Road. The acclaimed Notting Hill neighbourhood is just a short walk away, with Paddington Station and Crossrail offering easy access to all the city hotspots.
All guests will have access to first-class on-site amenities and a carefully curated weekly cultural programme, including the in-house wellness facility, The Grounding. A pool, sauna/steam rooms, cold water therapy bucket showers, and a fully-equipped gym, are all at no extra cost. Guests can also explore a range of additional holistic physical therapies and relaxing beauty treatments, plus a weekly programme of classes such as yoga, pilates, Boxfit, HIIT and their signature ‘Groundwork’ class. Any guest settling in for a month or more, will receive a complimentary one-to-one consultation with one of The Grounding’s team of practitioners, to create a tailored wellness and nutrition plan to help them reach their personal goals.
Guests can dive into a diverse cultural events programme that will take place across a variety of spaces, including the in-house state-of-the-art Listening Lounge and Cinema which will feature independent film screenings, live music, DJs and creative workshops. In support of emerging artists, Mason & Fifth are partnering with Dazed Club, the dedicated member’s community of leading culture magazine Dazed, to offer an exclusive two-month residency for eight chosen applicants who will be invited to stay and create work in the building, culminating in a public exhibition of works. Mason & Fifth will also go beyond its four walls to explore a series of outdoor trips to nearby kayaking, wild swimming and hiking hotspots, and guests will also have access to onsite cycle hire, in partnership with Temple Cycles.
Mason & Fifth are partnering with the team behind Crispin & Bistro Freddie to bring an exciting new restaurant & bar concept to Westbourne Park. On the water’s edge, Canal will be open to the public and guests alike to offer the perfect destination for a sit down meal, alongside a selection of grab-and-go dishes and snacks from the ground floor bar and café. The team collaborates closely with a community of trusted farmers, day-boat fishermen, and producers, who prioritise seasonality, sustainability and flavour in every dish.
High up on the 10th floor, there’s an exclusive guest-only panoramic lounge, with views overlooking the London skyline. Guests can unwind and spend the evening cooking, eating, and relaxing with the backdrop of the city lights.
Mason & Fifth are also introducing their first ever dedicated creative workspace within the Westbourne Park site – Meadow – which opens in June and will be available to book from January. It will be home to approximately 120 creatives and makers, providing much-needed space for the local community who can choose daily/weekly/monthly ‘Workbench’ memberships, or take a private ‘Workshop’ for a minimum of three months. Mason & Fifth have also announced affordable memberships which are set aside for local charities and community groups that may not be able to afford the standard rates.
Additionally, a series of well-known and exciting emerging brand partners will be featured as part of the offering, including STORE STORE and Planet Good Earth, with more to be announced – creating a platform for local creatives to sell sustainable, independent goods. Mason & Fifth will also launch their own collection of exclusive homeware products created in collaboration with local makers and longtime collaborators, including Colours of Arley, Hoodmor, Goldfinger and Kana.
Connecting guests and visitors to local thriving businesses is key to the Mason & Fifth ecosystem. The brand will continue to work collaboratively with local communities to champion Westbourne Park’s “local heroes”. Mason and Fifth will welcome local creators to experience specially curated events and perks, from the best artisan chefs and bakers to local musicians, venue owners and florists.
A new state-of-the-art music studio, built in collaboration with Seb Glover, Co-Founder of 24-hour East London institution, FOLD, will also launch as a new haven for record labels, artists and producers to create the music of tomorrow. More details will follow as bookings open in March.
Mason & Fifth Founder Ben Prevezer says, “We’re excited to open Westbourne Park in June 2025, the largest location from the Mason & Fifth brand, and also London’s first fully flexible accommodation of this calibre. Flexible accommodation means different things to different people, so we have taken all the elements of what we feel makes up a life well-lived, from wellness, sustainability, community, and culture, to offer a perfectly blended experience for Londoners and global citizens to come together in this thriving neighbourhood. Mason & Fifth is also set to announce an all-new boutique guesthouse in London’s Belsize Park, offering an authentic North London stay.”
