Social media-first deals publisher, Holiday Pirates, and influencer-led social media agency, Trending Travel, have unveiled a new strategic partnership to create a new platform with “unrivalled” reach for tourist boards, tour operators and travel retailers to distribute its products and services direct to consumers.

The strategic partnership between the two, which starts immediately, will align both brands’ sales teams, and see its travel deals and content, alongside partnership campaigns, cross-promoted and amplified across each brands’ social media platforms, opt-in WhatsApp groups, and newsletters.

The combined reach has over 1.1 billion, to deliver on the promise of “unrivalled” engagement throughout the sales funnel for clients and deals providers.

David Armstrong, CEO and co-founder of Holiday Pirates, said: “This collaboration marks an important step for both Holiday Pirates and Trending Travel as it creates a brand new integrated service for our shared retail travel and tourist board partners that covers the entire consumer journey.

“From the initial inspiration phase through influencer-driven content, to the promotion of exclusive travel deals, we can now provide a comprehensive full-funnel marketing solution.

“By combining Holiday Pirates’ expertise in deal curation with Trending Travel’s innovative content and influencer approach, we’re able to create a unique offering that will drive engagement and deliver measurable results.

“We believe this collaboration will be a game-changer, enabling us to drive even greater value for our partners and provide a streamlined, effective promotional strategy that resonates with today’s travel consumers.”

Keith Herman, CEO of Trending Travel, added: “We’ve been working with Holiday Pirates for a while now, so can’t wait to get started talking to tourist boards, tour operators and retail travel partners about how this new partnership will enable them to reach even more potential customers cost effectively, and at speed.

“It creates an unmatched, and unmissable, full-service social media proposition for the travel industry that will enable them to optimise their presence on the fastest-growing distribution channel in marketing, and which has the potential to take travel and social media to the next level.”
