MIKE DEITEMEYER JOINS ROCKBRIDGE
Mike Deitemeyer has joined Rockbridge as executive vice president of Rockbridge Holdings. He will serve in several leadership roles grow the platform overall, specifically in the luxury and lifestyle segment. He will helm strategic affiliates beginning with Rockbridge’s latest acquisition, ZaZa Hotels and Resorts.
With a background of success spanning operations, brand leadership, hospitality development and investing, Deitemeyer brings experience in placemaking, uniting the facets of successful development. Mike has been at the forefront of large-scale public-private investments in U.S. hospitality, including projects that brought experiential travel to large box hotels in urban markets. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in Omni’s evolution into the resort space, steering over $1 billion in investment.
LEONARDO HOTELS CENTRAL EUROPE RESTRUCTURES SALES & MARKETING
Leonardo Hotels Central Europe, the Berlin-based company that is part of the Fattal Hotel Group, has restructured its sales team, which has been divided into the sales and convention sales divisions. The corporate communications department has also been reorganized, with the digital, marketing and PR teams being merged.
Lisa Mager is now responsible for the conventions sales division as head of convention sales Central Europe. She has been with Leonardo Hotels for over five years and was initially responsible for the NRW region as director convention sales. She reports directly to Managing Director Yoram Biton.
Maja Ziemann will helm the corporate, MICE and leisure sales department as director sales Central Europe. Ziemann has served as head of corporate & MICE sales at Leonardo Hotels Central Europe since 2013. She will also report to Biton.
The realignment in the area of marketing combines digital marketing and classic marketing under the leadership of Dan Ogen, who has taken over the position of chief digital and marketing officer.
The PR and brand marketing departments are headed by Marion Schön, director communication & marketing at Leonardo Hotels Central Europe since August 2023.
Sandra Dreher, vice president sales & marketing Central Europe, has been actively involved in the restructuring process and exited the company to devote herself to other areas.

The Lowell Hotel, the luxury hotel in New York’s prime Upper East Side, has welcomed Julian Alden as director of sales and marketing. Alden brings over 20 years of experience in driving revenue and brand awareness for some of New York City’s most prestigious properties and international resorts.
His new role at The Lowell marks his return to the New York hospitality scene, where he has an extensive history of working with the city’s most renowned properties. Most recently, he served as the director of sales & marketing for the opening team of Six Senses La Sagesse Grenada.
Remington Hospitality has appointed Brian Ehrlich as senior vice president of business development. He will support the company’s strategic growth by identifying new market opportunities, strengthening key partnerships and continuing to expand the company’s presence across the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America.
Ehrlich joins Remington Hospitality with over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry. His background spans broker, investment banker, developer, acquirer, manager and brand creator roles. He has worked across a broad spectrum of properties, ranging from select-service to full-service, branded to lifestyle and independent and from three-star to five-star establishments.
Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, the luxury retreat in the Austrian Alps, has welcomed Andreas Pade as its managing director. He will lead the hotel’s operations and guide a team of over 180 employees. With Rosewood since 2011, Pade brings years of experience and extensive knowledge of the brand, having held key leadership roles at several properties within the portfolio.
Pade is joined by Maximilian Deickert who will serve as hotel manager. Brining more than 20 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, he will focus on elevating the property’s F&B offerings. Most recently, he served as resort manager at Aman Hotels & Resorts in the Philippines.
Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, A Gurney’s Resort & Spa has announced Laura McIver as their new managing director. With more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she will oversee the daily operations of the resort’s management team, ensure the execution of resort experiences and activities, lead and manage efficient workplace culture and maintain the highest standards of guest service.
Throughout her career, McIver has held the general manager position for over 15 years at several hotels and resorts spanning across California and Arizona.
The Leading Hotels of the World has welcomed two hoteliers to its executive committee — Pia Djupmark, CEO of Grand Hôtel Stockholm, and Crescenzo Gargano, co-owner of Hotel Santa Caterina.
The executive committee is now composed of the following members:

Grand Hyatt Vail has appointed two professionals: Fernando Santana as managing director and Michael Scott as hotel manager of food and beverage operations.
Santana will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, including guest services, financial performance, staff management and revenue optimization.
Scott will lead all food and beverage functions, including restaurant and bar operations, event coordination, culinary programming, financial budgeting and staff development.
NEW GMs
Miiro, the new lifestyle hotel brand, has appointed Stefan Ludwig as the general manager of The Mansard effective from April 1. With almost 26 years of experience in the industry, Ludwig has served with brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, Kempinski, Fairmont and Almanac Hotels.
He joins Miiro from the Gstaad Palace Hotel in Gstaad, Switzerland, where he held the role of director of sales and marketing and deputy general manager. As part of this reorganization, Martin Bieri will transition his responsibilities as managing director on April 1. Additionally, Michel Wichman will exit as a shareholder of The Mansard as of the same date.
Trump International Beach Resort Miami has appointed Jennifer Hiblum as general manager. She has spent nearly 18 years in key leadership roles across the northeastern market and has served at brands such as Viceroy Hotels & Resorts and Sixty Hotels in New York City.
Prior to her new role, Hiblum played an instrumental role in the pre-opening and launch of Arlo Wynwood, Miami’s flagship property for the Arlo brand.
