Introduction is way to improve its customer service

Cruise.co.uk has introduced online booking capability to its website, in addition to its current email and phone booking options.

The specialist agency said the online process will still include the option for a consultant to be on hand during and after the booking.

It added the move aims to “expand customers’ choice” and “streamline the booking process” and should allow consultants more time to create tailormade packages.

Managing director Tony Andrews (pictured) said: “We’re always looking at ways to improve our customer service and the introduction of online bookings is a natural step forward.

“We know that many customers are comfortable using these systems, but for us it’s important that we do not lose the human touch, so our cruise consultants will continue to be on hand to help at all stages of the booking journey.”
