
The HR Group, a Berlin-based hospitality company, has completed the acquisition of H-Hotels, one of Germany’s largest privately owned hotel operators. The transaction includes more than 60 hotels across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Hungary, significantly expanding the HR Group’s presence in the European hospitality sector.
A strategic growth milestone
This acquisition marks a key step in the HR Group’s ongoing expansion, increasing its portfolio by approximately one-third. H-Hotels, headquartered in Bad Arolsen, Hesse, operates a diverse range of brands, including Hyperion Hotels, H4 Hotels, H2 Hotels, H+ Hotels, H.ostels, and H.omes.
According to Ruslan Husry, Chairman & CEO of the HR Group, the acquisition aligns with the company’s strategic vision, strengthening its multi-brand hotel management capabilities in Europe. Husry emphasized the importance of collaboration between both companies to integrate expertise and drive further growth.
An operation that occurs just a few days after the acquisition of 10 hotels from H World International, all located in Germany. Both acquisitions confirm the ambition of the group to strenghten its footprint across the European hospitality market.
Future development plans
H-Hotels will continue operating under its established brand identity while benefiting from the HR Group’s extensive experience in procurement, sales, and operational efficiencies.
The HR Group plans to work closely with H-Hotels teams in the coming months to develop long-term strategies focused on digital transformation, food & beverage concepts, and organizational optimization.
