Kempinski Hotels names Karin Raguin as Chief Human Resources Officer

Kempinski Hotels has named Karin Raguin as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), reinforcing its commitment to talent development and organizational growth. In this role, she will lead all aspects of human resource management, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, succession planning, learning and development, and corporate social responsibility.

Experience in luxury and talent management

Bringing over 20 years of expertise in human resources within the luxury goods and fashion industry, Raguin previously served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for LVMH in China. Based in Shanghai since 2022, she led a team of over 35 department heads and played a key role in LVMH’s Global Tech Board, which focused on leveraging data and systems for HR transformation.

Her extensive career includes leadership roles such as Vice President of Talent Management and Corporate Social Responsibility at LVMH North America and Global Head of Career Management for LVMH in Paris. She also held the position of VP, Global Talent at Christian Dior Couture, contributing to workforce strategies at a global level.

Academic background and strategic influence

Raguin holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from ISC Paris and is a Member of the International Strategic Committee at ISC Paris. Her expertise in talent strategy and corporate social responsibility aligns with Kempinski’s focus on workforce excellence and innovation.

Under the guidance of Group CEO Barbara Muckermann, Kempinski is shaping a new era of leadership dedicated to enhancing organizational performance and positioning the brand for success.
