IHG Hotels & Resorts continues to strengthen its presence in the UK and Ireland with the signing of eight new hotels, representing over 900 rooms in strategic destinations such as London, Leeds and Reading.

A growth strategy focused on conversion and innovation

With hotel investment at its highest level for five years according to Cushman & Wakefield, IHG is capitalising on opportunities to convert existing hotels to accelerate its expansion.

The rise of the voco and Garner Hotels brands illustrates this trend, with a portfolio under development that far exceeds their number of hotels already open in the UK and Ireland.

‘2024 has been an exceptional year for our development in this region. The strong demand for our brands confirms our privileged position with owners and guests. With innovations in our hotels and the growth of the IHG One Rewards loyalty programme, we are continuously improving the customer experience.’ – Joanna Kurowska, Vice President and General Manager UK & Ireland at IHG Hotels & Resorts
