IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to introduce its Hotel Indigo brand to Menorca, Spain, with plans for the opening of Hotel Indigo Menorca in summer 2026. This marks a significant milestone in IHG’s expansion within the Balearic Islands and Spain.
A new addition to the Balearic Islands
The new Hotel Indigo Menorca will be located in the island’s capital, Mahón, offering a total of 75 rooms. This property will be part of IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio and represents the company’s eighth Hotel Indigo property in Spain.
The hotel will complement IHG’s existing presence in Mallorca, where it operates Kimpton Aysla Mallorca, Six Senses Ibiza, and the Vignette Collection Mallorca.
The Hotel Indigo Menorca property will feature a design inspired by the local neighborhood and culture. It will be situated near the Isla del Rey and the Hauser & Wirth art centre, providing guests easy access to Menorca’s cultural and coastal attractions.
Key features and location
Hotel Indigo Menorca will be located overlooking the port of Mahón, offering guests breathtaking views of the harbor. The hotel will feature a variety of amenities, including private terraces in every room, a sea-view restaurant, a bar offering local flavors and an outdoor pool.
Menorca, known for its sunny weather, pristine beaches, and calm atmosphere, is an attractive destination for travelers seeking relaxation and cultural exploration. The hotel’s location will make it a great starting point for those looking to experience the island.
