New technology and content partnership will deliver choice

American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) has announced a brand-new integration of its hotel marketplace into the new Concur Travel solution via Hotel Connector.

Alongside their negotiated hotel programs, joint customers can choose to add extra content with more than 2 million properties across 180 countries and a wide range of rates, including Amex GBT preferred partner rates and offers from Expedia and Booking.com, all within Amex GBT’s hotel marketplace.

Business travel customers will access AI-powered optimisation of travel programmes, search capabilities delivering intelligent, personalised hotel recommendations, while booking workflows and checkouts are said to be faster and streamlined.

Simon Fishman, vice president, global business partnerships, said: “We believe this is the crucial next step in empowering our travellers and clients to get the very best of the Amex GBT marketplace.

“By providing access to more than 2 million properties around the world at great rates, we are excited that through this commercial and technology partnership we can now bring these benefits to our SAP Concur customers.”

Charlie Sultan, president of Concur Travel, said: “SAP Concur and Amex GBT have collaborated to improve access to hotel content for joint customers.
