Treehouse Hotel Manchester has officially opened, marking the second location in the UK for the brand. Featuring treehouse-inspired rooms, local dining experiences, and unique amenities, the hotel blends eco-conscious design with a playful and free-spirited atmosphere.
A unique hospitality experience in Manchester
Located at the corner of Blackfriars Street and Deansgate, Treehouse Hotel Manchester promises guests “a playful and free-spirited hospitality experience” that connects them with nature while offering modern city amenities.
The hotel offers 200 rooms, including three accessible rooms, with a Treetop Suite scheduled to open later this year.
Treehouse Hotel Manchester is the second UK location for the brand, following the successful debut of Treehouse Hotel London in 2019. Guests can expect treehouse-inspired interiors and a blend of eco-conscious design throughout the property.
Dining and wellness offerings
The hotel features various dining options, starting with Pip, a ground-floor restaurant by chef Mary-Ellen McTague. This restaurant focuses on seasonal, low-waste menus crafted using local produce from the North West, including ingredients from local suppliers such as Littlewoods Butchers and Cinderwood Market Garden.
In addition, Sister Moon by Sam Grainger, set to open in 2025, will offer an elevated Southeast Asian-inspired dining experience on the 14th floor.
For guests seeking relaxation and wellness, the hotel offers “The Playground,” a fitness space with bespoke equipment, which will eventually expand to a membership program for local residents.
The property also features a 43-seat screening room, “Flix,” equipped with Dolby Atmos and 4K projection, along with seven versatile meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 400 guests.
Cultural programming and local collaborations
The hotel’s cultural programming will be led by local figures Luke Cowdrey and Justin Crawford, aiming to celebrate the city’s rich music, arts, and community events.
In addition to hosting art workshops, yoga sessions, and film clubs, Treehouse Manchester will offer a special Mother’s Day event, featuring complimentary welcome drinks and treats for mothers.
This opening follows the recent announcement of SH Hotels & Resorts to re-adopte its original name Starwood Hotels as the group celebrates its 10th anniversary.
