[Update] Ennismore, in collaboration with the SLS and Mondrian brands, unveils the SLS Madrid Infantas and Mondrian Bucharest residences.
SLS Madrid Infantas residences
Ennismore, in partnership with the SLS brand, is spearheading this transformation, which marks its first foray into the Spanish residential market.
It was originally designed by Spanish architect Eduardo Sanchez Eznarriaga in the 1920s and formerly the home of writer Enrique Jardiel Poncela, the historic building that houses SLS Madrid Infantas Residences. Studio Carter, renowned for its expressive and narrative designs, has created an environment that preserves the building’s history while adopting a contemporary and elegant style.
The design combines heritage architecture with modern luxury, featuring Bulthaup kitchens, Gaggenau appliances, and marble-detailed bathrooms. Penthouses will offer private terraces with panoramic city views.
Each unit will feature private terraces and swimming pools. Residents will have access to amenities such as the SLS Social House, which includes a library, wine cellar, fitness studio, and a rooftop pool. The project is part of Accor’s Live Limitless (ALL) program, offering benefits like VIP services and Diamond status.
Mondrian Bucharest
One United Properties and Ennismore have collaborated to introduce a new addition to the Bucharest hotel scene: the Mondrian Bucharest, located at 8-10 Georges Clemenceau Street, near the Romanian Athenaeum. The hotel’s design is inspired by the Romanian fairytale “Youth without age and life without death”, blending tradition and modernity.
The hotel will have around a hundred rooms and suites, a swimming pool and a spa. In terms of food and beverage, the establishment will offer top-of-the-range gastronomic options from renowned chefs.
Under the creative direction of Lemon Interior Design, the Mondrian Bucharest will present a design concept inspired by Romanian cultural heritage. Elena Oancea, co-founder of Lemon Interior Design, emphasised the team’s commitment to authenticity and storytelling.
Mondrian, an affiliate of the Ennismore Group, is known for its innovative approach to hospitality, featuring art, design and culture.
