Hilton is marking a significant milestone by reaching 1,000 hotels in the EMEA region. This achievement is complemented by the introduction of new brands such as Tempo by Hilton and further expansion of Spark by Hilton.

Hilton reaches a miltestone in EMEA region

Hilton is set to open its 1,000th hotel in EMEA this spring, a key milestone for the company in its rapid expansion across the region.

The group’s growth trajectory has been bolstered by several recent openings, including Signia by Hilton Amman, Canopy by Hilton Cape Town Longkloof, and Spark by Hilton Stuttgart Sindelfingen. Upcoming openings like Sax Paris, Hilton Turin Centre, and Curio Collection by Hilton The Marcus Hotel Portrush are further contributing to this achievement.

The expansion is not limited to existing brands; Hilton is also introducing new concepts. The brand’s growth strategy includes Tempo by Hilton, which will launch in several key cities, and Spark by Hilton, which is seeing further growth in new countries.

Tempo by Hilton arrives in Europe

Hilton is launching Tempo by Hilton, a lifestyle brand designed for the modern traveler. The first properties under this brand in EMEA will open in Belfast, Lisbon, and Reykjavik. These hotels will focus on well-being, with dedicated fitness spaces and areas for guests to relax and work.

Tempo by Hilton Lisbon Parque das Nações: Opening in Lisbon’s main business district, this property will offer 142 rooms and an on-site fitness space, along with a restaurant and bar area.

Tempo by Hilton Reykjavik: Set for 2027, this hotel in Reykjavik will focus on well-being with wellness-oriented guest rooms and a café-style dining option.

Spark by Hilton expands into new markets

Hilton’s Spark by Hilton brand, which offers a cost-effective and flexible hotel experience, is also expanding rapidly. The brand’s debut in EMEA occurred in 2024 with the opening of Spark by Hilton London Romford. This brand is now expanding into additional European markets, with new openings planned in France, Spain, and Türkiye.

Spark by Hilton Madrid Alcalá: Scheduled for 2025, this hotel will mark the debut of Spark by Hilton in Spain. Located in the San Blas-Canillejas neighborhood of Madrid, it will feature 95 rooms and amenities designed to serve business and leisure travelers.

Spark by Hilton Van City Centre: Set to open in 2025 in Türkiye, this property will offer 60 rooms and a 24-hour retail market catering to on-the-go guests.

Hilton’s strategic growth and expansion in EMEA

Hilton’s growth in the EMEA region reflects the company’s ongoing strategy to diversify its offerings and expand its market presence. With over 450 hotels in the pipeline, Hilton is poised for continued growth in the region.

The company’s regional growth is further supported by its strategic partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, which strengthens its portfolio of luxury hotel experiences.
