Bolt debuts flight tracking as new feature

No more being late for your airport pick-up because of a delayed flight

Mobility app Bolt has unveiled a new feature to its app for flight tracking, which will see traveller’s taxis ready for them as soon as they land at the airport.

Passengers enter their flight number while scheduling an airport ride, and the app then will automatically set your pickup time based on your flight’s real-time status. 

When you schedule a ride and select an airport as the pickup point, the option will be given to sync the Bolt ride with a flight’s arrival time.

The move from the firm is to end the need for last-minute rescheduling, extra costs, or unexpected wait times – because flights can even be early on ocassion.

It said in a blog about the news: “When scheduling your ride from the airport, simply link your flight, and we’ll automatically adjust your pickup time, so your Bolt is ready to go when you land – at no additional cost.

“And if your flight is canceled, we’ll cancel your ride for free.”
