TPConnects Technologies has announced the strategic addition of LIFT to its Iris platform, significantly strengthening its presence in the South African travel market.

This new integration enables Flight Centre Travel Group to offer LIFT’s content to its corporate and leisure customers through Iris.

The Iris platform continues to transform the travel aggregation landscape by bringing together diverse content sources including LCC, NDC, and EDIFACT content through a single, unified interface.

This comprehensive solution ensures seamless booking and servicing of air content, enabling travel sellers to offer the best available fares and products to their clients. By integrating LIFT, travel sellers will have access to LIFT’s complete range of fare families.

“We are excited to partner with TPConnects to enhance our distribution capabilities to Flight Centre Travel Group and provide a more seamless and efficient booking experience,” said Cilliers Jordaan, chief commercial officer of LIFT.

“This collaboration underscores our commitment to continued improvement of service and support to our valued partners.”

Eric Dumas, CEO of TPConnects Technologies, added: By bringing LIFT’s content onto Iris, we’re significantly expanding our reach in the South African market while enabling seamless access for travel businesses across both corporate and leisure sectors.

“This integration represents our strategic focus on growing our footprint in key African markets.”

Sue Garrett, GM Supply and Distribution, Flight Centre Travel Group, added, “Through this integration, we’re expanding the travel choices available to our South African customers. This not only diversifies our product offering but also reinforces our dedication to the South African market, where we continue to invest in delivering exceptional value and service to both our corporate and leisure travellers.”

The Iris platform continues to expand its global presence, with a strategic focus on strengthening its footprint in South Africa and across the African continent.

This growth enables TPConnects to better serve travel sellers across South Africa and beyond, while also expanding its reach in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, offering enhanced retailing capabilities, rich content access, and comprehensive servicing.
